Today at the Tallahassee Blueberry Festival I was racially profiled by Catherine, a worker of the event, and accused of hiding blueberries in my purse. She attempted to confront me as I was paying for my bucket of blueberries, asking me to pay for the ones that I β€œhid in my bag” and insisted that I stole from the farm . This behavior was disgraceful and disrespectful, and a poor representation of the Tallahassee community. Insulting my character by attempting to embarrass me in front of a crowd of people was rude and nasty and can only come from a place of prejudice and hate.

Had a a great time at opening day even in the rain and muddy conditions. Staff was doing everything they could to keep things running smoothly with parking and entry/exit.

What a beautiful setting to pick blueberries. We took our 3 grandchildren and had a wonderful time! The blueberries are delicious and I can't wait to make a blueberry cobbler for our Memorial day cookout! The owners are awesome and their pride of ownership shows! We will be back!
